  • 2 cups diced chicken (cooked)

  • 1 can cream of chicken soup

  • 15 oz. can of mixed vegetables

  • 1/2 cup milk

  • 2 thawed, 9 inch frozen pie crusts

Chicken pot pie is one of those All American meals. It is good old fashioned comfort food. There is nothing more satisfying on a cold winter's day than a warm chicken pot pie waiting on the table.. Many people shy away from making pot pie because they think it requires a lot of preparation time and work. In fact, chicken pot pie can be fairly simple to make. Here are five easy steps to prepare a 6 serving chicken pot pie for your family. They will be amazed!

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Press one of the pie crusts down into the pie pan. Make sure the crust edges scale the edges of the pan.

Step 3

Mix the chicken, soup, vegetables, and milk in your mixing bowl until well combined. Pour the mixture into the pie pan and crust.

Step 4

Place the remaining crust over top of the mixture and seal the edges with the other crust's edges. Pinch together until the entire top is sealed. Next, poke 16 holes in the top of the crust with your fork.

Step 5

Bake for 30 minutes and serve!

Tip

If your crust doesn't look golden after 30 minutes, leave it in the oven for a bit longer.
