  • Edible flowers

  • Juice of 2 grapefruits

  • Juice of 2 oranges

  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup

  • 1 bottle sparkling wine

1. Prepare the floral ice cubes

Place the edible flowers in an ice cube tray. Then, slowly pour water over them.

Let it freeze for a few hours. The amount of time will depend on the size of your ice container and the temperature of your freezer.

Tip

If you want to make sure your ice cubes are clear, boil filtered water and let it cool before adding it to your ice cube tray. This is an optional step.

2. Prepare the citrus juice

Squeeze the juice from the grapefruits and oranges. Pour it into a cocktail shaker using a strainer to remove the pulp and seeds.

3. Add maple syrup

Add maple syrup to the shaker and stir. You can add more or less maple syrup depending on how sweet you want your drink to be.

4. Assemble the drink

Pour the citrus mixture to fill 1/4 of a glass and then fill the rest with sparkling wine. To make a nonalcoholic option, add more citrus juice to the glass and top with some sparkling water instead. Add the flower ice cubes and enjoy!
