Step 1

Measure the length, width and height of your toaster.

Double-crochet rectangular blocks to match the measurement plus one half inch. Begin by crocheting a chain that is a half-inch longer than the width of the rectangle you need to make. Row 1: Turn and double-crochet in the third chain from the hook. Double-crochet in each stitch of the chain.

Row 2: Turn the piece, chain 3 and double-crochet in the second double-crochet from the hook. Continue until the rectangle is the size needed.
