PVC, polyvinyl chloride, is a type of plastic piping used in commercial and residential structures. The piping is also used to construct homemade flagpoles, bed frames and other projects. PVC pipes are not difficult to cut—a hack saw or circular can you give you a clean cut. PVC pipes often contain lot numbers and other writing printed on one side of the pipe. You can remove writing from a PVC pipe, leaving the surface white and clean.
