Print your own boarding passes on Southwest Airlines.

Southwest Airlines allows you to print boarding passes from home or at one of their airport kiosk stations. The process is designed to be time-saving. The Southwest Airlines website has a section devoted to check-in and printing your flight itinerary and boarding pass. The airport kiosks have a check-in and boarding pass function for those without a computer or access to a printer.

With a Computer

Step 1

Go to the Southwest Airlines website and select Retrieve Travel Documents option.

Step 2

Enter you confirmation code for the flight and your first and last name. Hit enter and wait for the flight travel screen to appear. Select the Print Boarding Pass option.

Step 3

Click the Print function on the computer screen and wait for the printer to produce the boarding pass. Place the boarding pass with your other travel documents in preparation for your trip.

Airport Kiosk

Step 1

Go to your departure airport 90 minutes before your flight. Locate Southwest Airlines' kiosks and press the touch screen to begin the process.

Scan your passport or ID under the kiosk scanner to verify identification. Enter your confirmation code and your name.

Step 3

Pick up your boarding pass in the kiosk dispensing slot. Go to your gate for your flight departure.
