Clean peanut frying oil to reuse the oil again.

Peanut oil is frequently used for frying because it has a high smoke point. This means it can be heated to very high temperatures before the oil starts to smoke. When using large amounts of peanut oil, the oil can be reused after frying. You must clean the oil, as food particles in the oil will go bad and spoil the oil. Oil can be expensive and many cooks reuse their peanut oil to save money.

Step 1

Fry a piece of citrus fruit in the oil to remove any remaining flavors, if the item that was fried had strong flavors that were transferred to the oil. The citrus fruit refreshes the oil.
