Things You'll Need

  • Brown Scrub Pad

  • Drive Pad Holder

  • Vacuum Cleaner

  • 60 Grit Sandscreen Disc

  • 80 Grit Sandscreen Disc

  • 100 Grit Sandscreen Disc

  • Tack Rags

Step 1

Insert a 60 grit sandscreen disc under a brown scrub pad. Hold the assembly in place with a pad holder, then sand the floor by sweeping the Orbiter over the boards until a layer is removed. You can identify when the layer is removed because you will see dulling in the finish and sawdust-like residue coating the floor. Vacuum up the residue.

Step 2

Change the sandscreen disc to 80 grit and repeat the previous step. Vacuum the floor, but this time finish with a tack rag to attract the remaining dust.

Step 3

Apply the floor finish and allow to the finish to dry by following the instructions on the container. Complete the job by running over the floor with the 100 grit sandscreen disc.
