  • 4 tbsp. flour

  • 4 tbsp. sugar

  • 2 tbsp. cocoa

  • 1/8 tsp. baking powder

  • 3 tbsp. water

  • 3 tbsp. canola oil

Brownies in a mug are a fast and easy way to satisfy your late night sweet tooth without breaking out the casserole dish. These soft and chewy single-serving brownies can be prepared and ready to eat in under 10 minutes. You can choose from a variety of toppings such as marshmallows, nuts, chocolate chips or coconut flakes. All you need is a microwave, a mug and a few simple ingredients and you are ready to make an individual dessert. Step 1

Coat a large coffee mug lightly with cooking spray. Store in the freezer until ready to use.

Combine 4 tbsp. flour, 4 tbsp. sugar, 2 tbsp. cocoa, 1/8 tsp. baking powder and 1/16 tsp. salt in a medium bowl. Sift out any clumps.

Add 3 tbsp. water and 3 tbsp. oil to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.

Fill the chilled coffee mug to the halfway point with the brownie mixture.

Drop in 3 tsp. of peanut butter and stir gently.

Microwave on high for 2 minutes or until the center of the brownie is lightly set.

Spread a thin layer of peanut butter on top of the brownie while it is still warm.
