Bring one cup of distilled water almost to a boil. Add four packages of Knox gelatin, and stir until dissolved. Remove from heat, stir in one more cup of distilled water, 10 to 20 drops of fragrance/essential oil, and, if desired, food coloring. Fill clean baby food jars with the mixture and leave at room temperature to set. They can be cooled more quickly in a refrigerator if needed. Decorate the jars as desired.

On low heat, cook eight to10 tablespoons water, three envelopes gelatin and food coloring for about one minute, stirring constantly. Pour the mixture onto a plastic plate, and tap the plate against the counter to remove as many air bubbles as possible.
Let sit for one hour to one hour and 45 minutes to set. It should be flexible but firm. Cut out shapes with cookie cutters, peel, and place on flat surface. Punch a hole in each shape to insert a string for hanging. Let sit for two to three days to harden.
Gummie Worms
Boil 2/3 cup of any flavor juice. Place one packet of gelatin into a cake pan; stir in boiling juice until the gelatin dissolves. Let gelatin cool until warm but not yet setting. Place straws into the gelatin and let them fill, holding them down with a butter knife if they float to the surface. Chill at least three hours to set gelatin. Chilling for longer will make the worms firmer.
Remove straws from pan and place on clean cutting board. Using a rolling pin, begin at the end nearest to you and roll along the straws to push worms out the other end.
